Lessons in Dying
Fall is upon us, the beautiful season teaching us that letting go is a necessary part of life. Sometimes we close a chapter in order to open a new one. Some things find their ending organically and others require us to make a change for their conclusion.
With this month’s newsletter, I want to send you a reminder that it’s the season for these things, that grief is good, and that not all loss is tragic, but can instead lead to further growth in a different realm.
In this sense, I also want to send some encouragement for us to break any patterns that might be keeping us stuck, be they from habit or guilt.
Finally, as we approach the holiday season, of course the topic of setting and maintaining boundaries will be on many minds again. All of these topics are present here and may find their way into next things.
Giving Thanks
This work has sent me to some beautiful places this year:
Slovenia

Germany
Switzerland
Serbia
I look forward to the quieter months and bringing all the lessons home for the year ahead. If you don’t follow me on social media yet, please feel free to check out Instagram and Facebook for thoughts, reminders and announcements that you may enjoy or find beneficial.
HSP Group Meets Every Other Sunday
Our online group Highly Attuned started in August, and you are welcome to join! This group is for everyone who identifies as a highly sensitive person (HSP), an empath, or an intuitive. In a small group, we explore topics around self-knowledge and self-care, relationship and family dynamics, as well as work and our calling.
Please also note that this group is open to survivors of narcissistic abuse and so-called “toxic” relationships, which are not an uncommon phenomenon among the sensitive crowd. You can learn more about this offering here.
This month, we meet on Sunday, October 13 and 27. The group is open internationally and is scheduled for 11am-12.30pm PST, so that people from many different time zones can attend. If you’d like to join, simply reply to this email.
Longer Nights = Time for Books.. and Substack
Finally, I have been gathering some longerform written content for those of us who appreciate that sort of thing, with its slower pace and time to get into some depth and detail about a topic. Topics find their way here by ways of synchronicity, that is, repeated messaging through various interactions and encounters over a period of time. I’ve called it Imbue and I welcome you to take a look and read along and, if you like, to share with a friend.
Layer up, eat nourishing pumpkin soup, light a candle, and honor your dead.
Love,
Vesna
